Beatdown: Jacob Volkmann

TJ De Santis and Jeff Sherwood were back for a Monday edition of "Beatdown" on The Sherdog Radio Network. The two men welcomed UFC lightweight Jacob Volkmann and launched an impromptu investigation as to if mixed martial arts really has hit the mainstream.

Jacob Volkmann suffered his first loss in the UFC's lightweight division last time out against Paul Sass. The former Minnesota Golden Gopher joined the program to talk about his submission loss to the Englishman, his current career aspirations, and how he would like to fight Mark Bocek in his next fight. "Christmas" also chats about life outside of the cage and if he thinks Barrack Obama is aware of his comments on the president in the past.
